In August 1991 the Dominican Navy and CIRAMAR signed a contract for the operation and management of the Shipyard by ANABALCA, owned by Ciramar.
The Floating Drydock, Syncrolift and all the yard equipment were repaired and new equipment were purchased.
In December 1991 the syncrolift started to operate and in September 1993 the 200 ft. Floating Drydock was repaired and commenced lifting vessels up to 900 tons. 355 vessels have been repaired since December 1991 to December 2001, but due to the great demand of bigger vessels that were asking for drydocking ANABALCA bought a Floating Drydock of 155 m x 25 m with a lifting capacity of 7500 tons that arrived at the yard on August 2002 and started operating immediately.
The Ciramar management team is committed to delivering the most effective and timely project support, providing each customer with quality solutions.
