Engineer and Architect Luis Contreras Pena in the present day is the founder and president of ANABALCA Shipyard and the vice-president of CIRAMAR INTERNATIONAL TRADING.
WORK AND CONSULTING EXPERIENCE 2002-2005 Supervise and Manager building two (2) Steel tugs and four (4) aluminum Patrol Boats for the Dominican Government in association with DAMEN SHIPYARDS.
1991 to present President of the company, Project and Production Manager
1987-1989 Project Manager to purchased Tracor Marine Shipyards in Miami to be establish in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. Prepare and head of organization of new shipyard.
1984-1987 Advisor and Consultant for ISSFAPOL for the installation of an iron foundry and machine shop.
1981-1983 Sonat Offshore Drilling, Inc., Houston, Texas, USA. Senior Engineer, design offshore rigs, analyze mooring systems, check stability of vessels.

Supervised and directed the welding, machine, foundry, drydock, Electrical, sheet metal, internal combustion, engines, refrigeration and electronic shops. Designed and constructed barges, tug boats, fishing boast and pleasure boats.
